Where can I find data science projects?

“The person with the least experience as an engineer can begin on a journey towards mastery of data science skills in this new era in which skills of every level will be required.”

Terms such as deep neural nets, artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, and etc. are buzz words (that might boost the amount of SEO in this post, as long as Google AI doesn’t foil my attempts). I’ve produced a list of resources while doing projects in data science. I have found these resources to be helpful when looking for projects in data science.

There’s plenty of resources here to get you started in data science. Regardless of whether you’re a beginner or expert, by the end of this, you will be on a path towards mastering the skill.

Andrew Ng’s free machine learning class on Coursera

His course simplifies getting started so that you can take it with very little previous knowledge of data science and machine learning. Andrew is a great teacher who offers good explanations of challenging, complex concepts.

Data Set Search from Google

If you looking for practice data sets, then this site will provide you with exactly that. You can search here to find the type of data that you need. Having data sets to practice with is important to develop your skills in data science.

Arxiv.org

This website is one that everyone who’s into data science should use. Here’s where people publish their research before it “officially” gets published.

Hopefully, these resources are of use to you. I wanted to provide you with something beyond places like Kaggle and KdNuggets. Thank you for reading my blog post.
